Best sashimi salmon I’ve ever had!! It was so rich and buttery and unlike any I’ve tasted! It’s so cool to have a local place to get sushi grade fish! They were so kind and took their time explaining all the different kinds of seafood they carry! They were so helpful and we can’t wait to go back and get more soon!

Yesterday, I brought delicious Fresh Gulf Shrimp and Will Pickford the Owner ordered Me some Fresh Lump Crabmeat and it was so Delicious and I Mixed it up with some Hellmann's Mayo and put atop a Ritz cracker. Yum Pickford's Seafood is located beside Kate's Health Food Store. It's there 3rd time & Last Time of moving. NOW He is extremely Happy to Serve Harrisonburg and The Shenandoah Valley Communities. Tried my first King Salmon tonight from Pickford’s. Amazing!!!! It’s fresh and rich, with a mild flavor and it practically melts in your mouth. I sprinkled a bit of Cajun seasoning and drizzled with a bit of pure maple syrup. (I’ll be purchasing the smoked maple syrup from Pickford’s next time!) Tomorrow I will make sushi with the second piece. I can hardly wait! Thank you Will. Your quality is unmatched.

Fish is the freshest you can find in our area. Very accommodating especially wine tastings. I would not have bought a bottle of wine without the tastings.. and they were great. Keep finding the little gems in a bottle. The cod BTW was even better than the wine I think ...
Ever since discovering Pickford’s Seafood, two things have changed for me.. 1. I refuse to ever buy commercial store bought fish again 2. I have a new desire to try fresh seafood recipes. I live in Luray and have been praying for a quality seafood market for years. My prayers were answered with the discovery of Pickford’s! Worth every minute of the drive. Those who have been there understand my passion, those who haven’t are in for a treat! I made sushi tonight with best King Salmon in the region! It turned out amazing!
